I recently asked my CEO Peer Group, “How has our group impacted you?” Here are a few of the answers I received:
It’s re-energized me to work on (not ‘in’) my business. It’s given me great tools and examples to go by and made it okay to share with other execs.

I appreciate the professional relationships and value the trust that has developed among members. This allows me to bring sensitive issues to the group for feedback, resolution and progress/accountability.
My CEO Peer Group means getting away from the usual routine and pat answers of my own company’s culture. It means allowing myself and others to be vulnerable when we all have to appear strong in our own teams at work.
I improved my confidence in moving our company to the next level. Speakers challenge me to add news skills to my personal tool box and beg some changes in our procedures and processes. It challenges me to move our company to new heights. My CEO Peer Group means trusting others to help direct and inspire (and point out flaws in our processes, goals or challenges). It lets me voice problems in a healthy way.
My CEO Peer Group provided diverse insight and perspectives to problems and has added to my business network. I’ve had the opportunity to share problems, challenges and concerns and it allows me to be introspective. The monthly meetings have provided me opportunity to get recharged and energized. It’s a great opportunity for sharing ideas.
My CEO Peer Group has exposed me to an impressive group of talented, dedicated and bright individuals. Being around them has made me more aware of how I can learn from their example as leaders both in behavior and wisdom.
Mutual respect and trust is difficult to find in any group. However, one that is established, as it is with us, the result and the potential is powerfully positive. The solutions I have derived from this CEO Peer Group for my issues are a huge bonus!
